The Jazz of Broadway

Franc D’Ambrosio will debut his brand new show here at the Belfry highlighting musicals such as West Side Story, My Fair Lady, Chicago, The Phantom of the Opera, Porgy and Bess, and Company, reinvented alongside timeless jazz standards by Gershwin, Porter, Ellington, and Fitzgerald.

Each number is introduced with a brief story highlighting how Broadway and Jazz have always danced together in the shadows of the same smoky lounge. Whether it’s a bluesy “Send in the Clowns” or a swing version of “All That Jazz,” this show celebrates reinvention, rhythm, and the power of the Great American Songbook.
